You can't trust micoshaft marketing plops to discuss
anything here with decent Desktop Linux technology related stories.

They don't understand any Linux to enagage in a technical
conversation about Linux.

Here look some interesting Linux commands:

lspci | grep ATA

Try it. Can you guess what the output is used for?
It lists the serial and parallel disk controllers in your PC.
And if your PC has SATA controllers you will see SATA or Serial ATA listed.
