Doctor Smith is Chesaar Der AnusFluit AKA Ad Hominem. Uses any
means available, to include anonymising remailer servers and
software to post ad hominem attacks toward those advocating Linux
and to hide its identity.

However, if one reads the next post after the one initiated by
secretcog (who is not Roy Schestowitz), it states,

Definitely a lot of truth to less-is-more.
I wasted a full 3 years buying options and addons, only to end up
stifled and tense like your pic.
Trimmed down, and now everything's music again.

One doesn't need many options and addons to write MIDI (musical
instrument digital interface) files. Rosegarden, an application
bundled with Linux is feature rich and capable of performing this
quite nicely, comparing favourably to my Win98 Cakewalk
Professional 7.

What is MIDI for in the professional world? Making basically
"Karaoke songs" used in recording studios for backing singers.

A friend of mine from some time back wrote MIDI drum tracks for a
drum machine used by a professional studio.

Looks like this post by Gary backfired on him.
