That was XP. On a 1.8GHz notebook. With on a gig of RAM.
Have you ever tried to drag a thick board through thick mud? You can't
do it very fast. That's what it's like starting anything not wedded
/to/ Windross *on* Windwoes.
I consider 24.8s blazing considering the handicaps.
