Windows software comes in binaries with a .exe suffix (and others). It won't
run on RAM, so the 'network effect' of apps won't exist. It would be a total
embarrassment to Microsoft... worse than Windows Mobile.

Windows is still not modular. Variants of Windows (aka "ugly hacks") are
lagging behind, too. Microsoft is behind in this game. See Nokia N900 videos
for evidence. :-)
