Broadcasters -- unlike ISPs (bandwidth) -- like the idea of remote viewing because it enables
them to "Refine" targeted ads (read: spying) and denial of access to 'unhealthy',
'illegal', or unpaid 'content' ("pay us again for the same thing!").
It basically keeps control in the company's hands even while/after you watch the thing.
