I've just rebooted for the first time since November in order to try KDE 4.4.2
(on PCLinuxOS 2010). Wow! It sure beats the ease of use I can recall from 10 years ago.
Everything -- just everything -- worked out of the box, even in a live session.
Where can one download the Vista 7 live CD? Mac OS 10.6 live CD maybe?
GNU/Linux comes in many flavours. They all work.
Linux... it just works.
Windows: it comes /bundled/ and works the first day... then it gets malware.
Mac OS X: it comes /bundled/ and chokes the user. Choice? What's dat? :-)
