Me neither, but be aware that Microsoft want to make IBM (the 'middleman')
obsolete. They have recently invested half a billion dollars in this
strategic transition. As I said several times before, IBM seem to have
grown very fond and confident about Linux and Open Source in general. This
was openly stated in a talk I attended recently where a VP made no men-
tioning at all of Windows or Microsoft. IBM have reasons to dislike Mi-
crosoft as well:
* A recent lawsuit that ended up with Microsoft paying in hundreds of mil-
lions worth of vouchers to IBM
* SCO lawsuits against IBM. These are believed to be secretly funded by
Microsoft, who apparently funnel money to SCO. IBM made a request for a
subpoena to reveal the relationship between the UNIX company and Mi-
crosoft. More latterly, we came to discovered that SCO spend about 100
times the amount they earn and yet they continue to exist and spread Linux
FUD through lawsuits. Need I mention that Microsoft bought some UNIX boxes
from SCO?
Best wishes,
Roy
