Note: foot strap came loose a couple of times, possibly costing just a few seconds. I performed better at the age of 20, but the machines may change over time (friction) and I practiced a lot in the early days (technique, endurance).

'What is up?'

Mr. Fitness

December 2006: There was no Mr. Fitness contest in 2005, but there was a rowing contest. I finished a mile on a slow ergo with the time of 5 minutes and 32 seconds. Nobody beat that, but participants were missing.

April 2006: An annual fitness contest begins this month. It will be running until October.


September 2005: I attained the best time for the rowing contest, but the contest was conceded due to absence and organisational issues, apparently.


August 2005: Results from the rowing competition will soon be revealed. Meanwhile, I struggle to find time for football (the invitations are there every week) and it has been over a year since I last played my favourite sport -- tennis.


June 2005: I have completed my attempt at the rowing competition (The Cliffe Harrop Challenge) and I now await the results, which will be published in late August.


April 2005: No more squash for the time being. A rowing competition might kick off soon.


January 2005: Most occasionally I still play squash and football.


November 2004: I won the Mr. Fitness competition by a mere 10 points.


September 2004: Currently I participate in the Mr. Fitness competition, which ends soon. I also train with the Computer Science football team (unfortunately my meetings conflict with the league fixtures on Wednesday).
