The same advertisement came up in linux.org some days ago. A mate of mine
grabbed a screenshot on the 17th and sent them advice on disabling
competitive ads. There are a variety of advertisers, but not all of them
harbour Linux (in the sense that Linux is a /factor/) or use Linux and OSS
serve content. That being the case, I will continue with AdSense. If you
resist the idea of commercialism to balance running costs, look deeper in
this thread where I have given on opinion on the matter.
