WHy did I just type in:
rm *.prc Palm_Deprecated/
mv *.prc Palm_Deprecated/
...and why do files never percolate through Trash/Wastebasket first?
Many years ago when an employer moved me from Windows to Unix for the
first time, I removed everything in my home directory, with no backup
for the day's work. Good thing I didn't have root privileges that day!
I quickly acquired the habit of trying 'ls *.xxx' before 'rm *.xxx'.
Turns out that ls is a pretty good 'trash bin' kind of affair.
