> Why the sudden drop from Google? Whar can I do to get the visits back?
There are many possible causes, but you would be the best judge as you know
your recent actions. Judging by the extent of the drop, you were most likely
penalised. The site was not excluded, however, so SEO violations are
unlikely to have been the cause. Ask yourself questions like:
Have you added a very large number of pages?
Have you redirected excessively?
Have you HotLinked any media?
Have you linked to or received links from 'bad neighbourhood?
Has your Web server's IP address changed?
Has there been a significant downtime for the site?
Have you uttered words of rage that damage Google's reputation (unlikely)
Have you lost many links? (unlikely to be assimilated or related
to penalties)
Has any content been mirrored or stolen?
Identify the exact date when traffic dropped (use the logs) and try to
remember what we done or changed that day.
Hope it helps,
Roy
