Hey, i didn't know that.....you learn something new everyday!
All i know is that I run a sun linux desktop and a mac G3, and the look
and feel of the mac are light years better than the linux.
i think for tech people, linux desktops are cool (and we run linux
servers at work OBVIOUSLY), but for the mass of consumers out there,
looks (and simplicity of use) may add value to the product and increase
the chance they will adopt it.
