I see the same interaction froim a Linux Install as a Windows one, just
different screens and how the questsions are worded
- Format/Partition Hard Drive (if it is and OEM of Windows, it is
usually just Format)
- Select Keyboard and/or mouse
- Verify Video Card
- Plug in network specifics
- Intiial user account names/password
- Other Installable options (where GNU/Linux give applications instead
of just themes and control panels)
Some of those options aren't there for many people because it is an OEM
restore CD which has everything pre-configured for you (including your
partitions). But in a Generic (Retail) Windows insstall CD you would
see pretty similar to the Linux one if not more limited in what options
offered.
