If you can't control the OEM's selection of distribution and
hardware,  replace  it or manipulate its choices. Same  with
IBM.  If you can't make the end-clients (businesses)  choose
Microsoft  solutions,  then  allocate  a budget  of  half  a
billion dollars to eliminate IBM's presence in that area.

Microsoft  wants  to  be the producer,  the  middleman,  the
lawyer,  and the hardware manufacturer/distributer (see  how
Zune  and OneCare destory long-time partners). Anything that
makes  the monopoly grow by outmuscling the competition  and
--  ultimately -- makes the investors (and/or Mr. Bush) more
pleased is only part of the Grand Plan.
