Trolling comes in a variety of guises; one is the convincing poster who
gradually reels people in. Inventing a problem you don't have and then
complaining that you cannot fix it is a troll of the highest order.

Yes and yes. The approach looked similar, though.
There was another discussion going where he transformed "government
should use OSS so that everyone else gets a choice" into "illegal to
use proprietary software". I think he's been fed the marketing stuff,
and is trying to regurgitate it.
