...A  matter of preference perhaps, but for technical stuff that  requires
the  writing of code, running, experimenting, and getting a feel for UI's,
I  favour computer-fronting tutorials. No books can replace this, but many
people  cling  on  to  what they know  and  what  their  technology/chosen
surrounding  make more accessible and mobile. This has been discussed some
times  before  (even in COLA), so I will say no more. More recently,  even
Ballmer  said  that  his  vision is pen and  paper  becoming  obsolete.  I
personally made this transition a long time ago, so I dare say that I know
its feasibility and merits.
