Shouldn't the OP's gauges rely on the system settings rather than the time? I imagine this may be a case of lazy configuration.

Consider using Forecastfox if your are dealing with the Firefox Web browser
often enough for it to be visible (URL below). I haven't used KWeather in
the past, but I would have gladly gone for that superkaramba weather widget.


Personally, I don't like ForecastFox. Since they moved their data feed to AccuWeather (sic) I have been bitterly disappointed with the accuracy of the information - the current weather was regularly out by several degrees and several hours. I tried to stick with it and give feedback when things were awry, but gave up recently and went with 1-ClickWeather. The tool isn't as polished, but at least the data is accurate :-)
