More  choice  and more diversity prevent just a few 'Gods' for  committing
changes to code and distribute whenever they desire. With Open Source, the
money  will flow to the developers (rather than Swiss bank accounts),  who
will improve the system and re-distribute the changes (as often they must)
for  others  to  benefit from and for society as a whole to  move  forward
rather  than re-invent the wheel or have one wheel locked in a safe, never
to be improved.
