I joined the SuSE camp around the time (or immediately after) Novell took
over. I knew nothing else, but at the time it was still called SuSE (neither
SUSE, nor OpenSUSE, nor Opensuse). It was KDE-based, vibrant, and reliable
(10.0 wasn't a big hit). I still use SuSE 8.1 most of the time. Rock-solid
and probably more pleasing than 9.3, which I have at home...

OpenOffice officially welcomed the pact. surprise, surprise. Bunnies ban
hunting. Ex-softies like LQ welcome disrption in a Linux forum. He retrurned
to my killfile last night...
