Impressive. The PS3 does appear to be living up to my expectations with
respect to market impact and capabilities. Freedom from Microsoft is
clearly considered by many to be well worthwhile. In one of those
strokes of extreme irony, I think that Apple's success with the iPod has
been as influential as the development of Linux and open-source as far
as tipping Microsoft's monopoly into the "irrelevant" bin goes.
