That's because they now have a choice. And as Mr G knows, when they get
used to the idea of a choice at the browser level, they'll start to
consider choices at other levels. For example, why /not/ try the liveCD
that your mate left? It won't delete anything, it won't catch any
malware, it's totally secure, and it's free. No activation, no visits
from the BSA, no need even to feel guilty - you can use it without
concern. The chaps in the garages, finally, have done what BillG was
always so paranoid about.
