I suspect that all messages between the 17th and the 22nd are lost though. I
read quite a few through G2, but missed the majority of those followups
(including direct ones)... an uneasy feeling.

To elaborate,  after a decade or so of overcharging for software that locks
in the consumer, shilling is just petty cash. Microsoft puts its money on
the pony while a Linux horse strides strong. So it slings mud at the
track...
