...Meanwhile there are talks about ATi and AMD. There could truly be an Open
Source move there. As for Sun, their Open Source efforts have gone as far as
open-sourcing the hardware side as well... GPL-licenced... CPU could soon
evolve to integrate a GPU-like capability in order to be marketable in this
ever-evolving market. Some speculate that Intel will go after NVIDVIA and
something vague in memory tells me that NVIDVIA spoke about a CPU... I might
be mixing some bits of information here though... it was on the Reg the
other day.
