One simple solution is to killfile those posts, and then get a decent
RSS reader, and subscribe to a few feeds. Say, Linux Journal, and Linux
Today, and LWN.net, to name a few specifically for Linux. Throw in
eWeek and Wired and CNET. Also visit Digg and Slashdot and Reddit once
a day. Starting with these, and adding any interesting sites you come
across starting from those, you'll quickly reach a point where you've
got pretty much all the information you get from Roy's posts, with a lot
less work on your part, and without misleading headlines.

And you might even still see some of Roy's posts if you do this, on
those rare occasions when they get enough diggs to rise about the herd
on Digg. :-)
