They don't need to, the site doesn't work or has no actual content.

I use Ebooks, it takes a bit of getting used to, mainly because I read them
on my little PDA. But now that I am better used to it it's nice way to
carry a few books around in your pocket.

What books are available is still fairly limited. It shouldn't be really
because the publishers must receive their copy as a file. Can't be much
more involved than pressing the 'Forward' button on their email client
after filling in WH Smiths's email address.

At the moment WHSmiths Ebooks are about the cheapest (a UK book store), they
also have a decent range of most of the categories, plus they have a good
download speed. I did also find an excellent site based in the US.
unfortunately I found it when browsing on the PDA, then once found I just
had to click to use it. So when the MS windows for PDAs crashed yet again
such that I had to reset the PDA, I lost it and can't for the life of me
find it again or remember any part of what it was called. Such is life.

You also get a choice of download file formats. I still think Adobe works
best, even on a PDA with the MS eBook application. Adobe gives you more
control of the page and renderers the text well when you zoom.

ebooks.com has the largest range, and the best search engine, but it always
seems a bit pricey compared to the others.
