I don't like violent video games. I think they're a mindless waste of
time. And as much as I dislike Microsoft's company policies, I don't
think you can blame the Virginia Tech tragedy on them.
This guy was clearly bonkers. Just listen to his rantings on the DVD.
He was so far over the edge that just about any kind of input would
probably have set him off. Did the game contribute to his decline ? I
don't know. How about a violent movie ? There's lots of those.
In any case, its too early to start pointing fingers. I wish the news
services, attorneys and gun law advocates would go away. The families
of these kids have enough to cope with right now.
