Recall Gates' obsession with the UMPC, which goes many years into the past.
Apparently, Microsoft uses scare tactics to stifle Linux uptake in this
market (see my latest Intel post). But every scare tactic has its limit.
Intel's CEO has already said that 'Unix-type' devices are the future.
