Nah, I think that'd be too 1337.  The way they do it now is cool -
anyone can download the latest snapshot for a test drive, and Ubuntu
do make it clear that it's an alpha, test version, not to be used for
anything important.  Ubuntu get lots of feedback on the forums this
way, many many many eyes and all sorts of hardware configurations.
And absolutely anyone who wants to can get "involved".
