UNIX copyrights in Novell's hands is scary stuff. I wrote about this before.
Novell might be acquired by Microsoft many years from now. Don't forget Citrix
(with Xen) either. You know that Microsoft can easily get away with $6 billion
acquisitions (connections in DoJ). Google has Microsoft bullies (lobbyists)
running after them for a $3 billion acquisition. Ballmer still drops hints
about Yahoo...
America has become very imperialistic and there is little it is willing to do
to restrain Microsoft. Just look at OOXML/ISO. Crime goes uninterrupted as we
speak.
