In the above, Gates /does not/ declare that.  If you read the URL, the
interviewer asks him if he'd trust his life to a hospital with
life-support systems running Vista.

But, rather than saying "Hell, no, that's /not/ what Vista was designed
for, that's /not/ something tested to full standards!", he changes the
topic slightly to "mission-critical" things like the hospital network
and secure record-keeping.
