Are we in danger of getting jaded? The cube is so yesterday. :-)
Also, we've been claiming "year of Linux" for several years now;
we should probably be a bit careful, especially in light of
a certain other political happenstance two or so years back on
an aircraft carrier that has little to do with this newsgroup. :-)

Perhaps we'll just take it all in stride, and Microsoft Windows
Vista will be tagged with the absolute worst moniker that can
be attached to a software product.

Namely, "boring". (Make sure to stretch out the "r".)

I wish I could say the same. The good news: I can run
IE in Linux using WinE, which takes care of most of
my problems. The bad news: I have an app that cannot.
(Yep, it's another internal app, this one based on
Delphi. Sigh. I might get it to work under 0.9.30 hope
hope, which is what Gentoo is throwing at me if I say
"ACCEPT_KEYWORDS=~x86".)

Carla Schroder, eh? Not familiar with her.
Interesting regarding Dell...though from what research
I've done in the past, she's right; Dell plays some
interesting games.  Caveat emptor.

I hope she's right, though. :-)

Windows Vista. Because a BSOD is just so 20th century; why not
try our new color changing variant?
