Or appears to be.

The technical specs from
http://arstechnica.com/reviews/hardware/nokia770.ars
suggest that XP would have a difficult time on that
hardware if installed thereon directly, since it's using
a 250 MHz TI 1710 OMAP (ARM-based), and might have 128M
RAM at most. I'd suspect that he's set up a small network
and is running a slightly hacked XP (one of the options
in the demo supposedly indicated Nokia 770, though the
video was so bloomed out for me it was impossible to tell)
somewhere else, possibly through VNC, possibly through
VmWare and remote X.
http://arstechnica.com/reviews/hardware/nokia770.ars/3
suggests that the USB connection can talk to the RS-MMC card,
and that ssh can be installed on the device; presumably
it can also network through a local WiFi router.
It needs more RAM and more CPU, and some app fixes
(the reviewer hated the emailer), but looks like a very
interesting device. I don't anticipate many such devices
running Windows Vista Aero anytime soon, though! :-)

Linux makes one use one's mind.
Windows just messes with one's head.
