I think one can create a Vista with a different set of programs (not
packages), but there is a limited choice in the sense that you can pick just
a subset of Ultimate Edition. Other than that, one can create images, but
that's a different things altogether and it does not boot from a CD. There's
also something about Windows which is bootable from USB (about 128 MB).
