The hardware of the Compaq laptop which I had (for 6 years) was poor; support
likewise. The eSys, on the other hand, came with Linux and never caused any
real problem. I only needed to call them up once because the hard drive was
faulty. They replaced it without any questions asked. Not bad for a company
that sells a machine for under $300...
