I still haven't gotten around to posting to my WordPress blog from
the coffee house. I've been obsessing over finding an image gallery
to use as an archive for my cartoon project, which I still haven't
started because I've been wasting so much time obsessing on crap
like this.
I'm tempted to adopt a "no frills" approach and just provide a link
to the directory.

Some oldtimer UNIX geeks might appreciate a retro "birth of the web"
approach. They might also enjoy imagining the collective shudder of
the web designers.

I'm planning to install a home wireless network. This will entail
buying an Apple Airport Express and hooking it up with a wired
router, a cable modem and the Mac mini.

Yes. All three of the coffee houses with free wi-fi serve excellent
cappuccino.
Additionally, the city of Riverside has a free wi-fi program
downtown. Unfortunately, most of the available locations other than
the public library are outdoors. It's rather chilly outdoors after
the library closes.
