Eight Interesting Improvements In GNOME 2.22

,----[ Quote ]
| Back in November we started sharing some of the exciting features planned for
| the GNOME 2.22 and 2.24 releases, and now that the first GNOME 2.22.0 Beta
| release is planned for later this week, we have taken another look at the
| packages set for inclusion and the changes that have actually been made.
| While nothing groundbreaking will be introduced in GNOME 2.22 (compared to
| KDE 4.0 at least), this desktop environment does have some moderate changes
| worth noting. In this article are eight interesting packages that either have
| noticeable changes since GNOME 2.20 or are new to GNOME. This list isn't
| all-inclusive or ordered in any particular fashion, but just eight changes
| that had caught our attention.

My Favourite Apps on PCLinuxOS Gnome 2008

,----[ Quote ]
| Sometimes I think what keeps me stick to PCLinuxOS, while there are many
| popular desktop linux distributions around. Why can't I make Ubuntu, Mandriva
| or Fedora a mainstay on my notebook even though there are many more desktop
| applications available for them? Why could not I keep any of them on my
| notebook for a day or two, even though they have a bigger community behind
| them?

Jon's Review: PCLinuxOS Gnome 2.21.2

,----[ Quote ]
| PCLinuxOS Gnome 2.21.2 is a much better release than those past, and I am not
| saying this just because PCLinuxOS 2007 uses the rival K Desktop Environment.
| Usability is much smoother, the tools feel much more complete, and
| installation was a breeze, and every bit as easy as Ubuntu, Fedora, or any
| other distribution that is known for easy installation. There are many
| applications available, and they are all updated to the latest packages
| available. PCLinuxOS Gnome 2.21.2 gets the job done without complaining, and
| looks good while doing it.
