I'm afraid that (in respect of what you say) my memory might be at fault.
I thought that at installation time, one selected ones language?
- I'm pretty sure that one selects "UK keyboard" on installing previous
versions of Windows, for instance.
Are you telling me that if I bought a copy of Windows 7 in France, I
couldn't get it to use "English English", or for that matter "American
English"?
It sounds wrong.
I was wondering if there was some other restriction - a bit like "Area
Codes" on DVDs. Can you confirm or deny?
You can see where this is going, presumably? I'm wondering why, if the UK
version costs twice as much as the US version, we don't all simply buy the
US version, shipped from the US :-)
