Verily I say unto thee, that Roy Schestowitz spake thusly:
> Of course its Political!
Yes, I find it rather hypocritical that pragmatists like Torvalds and De
Icaza demand tolerance towards corporate gangsters like Microsoft, while
showing utter intolerance of those who oppose those gangsters.
With their "Black & White mentality" and "Microsoft hatred is a disease"
mantras, it seems their pragmatism is rather biased, suggesting that the
opinions they have about Microsoft's behaviour lean more heavily towards
/sympathy/ than indifference.
Pragmatism is a particularly nasty lie designed to engender sympathy and
cooperation from both sides of an argument, but that is actually nothing
but sympathy for just one side and betrayal of the other. Of course this
only works if one doesn't show contempt for one side of the argument, as
both Torvalds and De Icaza have clearly done. Perhaps someone could pass
this on to them, and save them the trouble of wasting their breath.
