Exactly. They already fail to maintain (patch) older version of Windows that are "supported" (XP and 2000).
Vista was developed primarily in Bangalore which is cheaper.

Indeed. It was in the news. To this date, just mention "Munich" in this newsgroup and
Ballmer's munchkins will jump. Microsoft fears Munich for the same reasons the US feared Cuba
(revolution/transformation that spread like "cancer").
