How 'bout this: I was taught that the only safe way to make a joke in
front of a mixed audience is to make a joke about *yourself*. If you
offend yourself in the process, well, that's on you.
The idea that jokes in debian will only be allowed against groups that
some quasi-official body determines to be "fair game" is so offensive
that I'm not sure if it was trolling.
