Thank you for the link, which looks as though it might be the answer
to my problem. It seems that I could not have used the right keywords
in Google, or I would have found it.
I started by trying to synch via USB and only when that failed did I
also try the serial port, in case it is used in some workaround of
which I might have been unaware. From the website it seems as though
I need pilot-link, which I will now try.
