Other possibilities are to omit both www[dot] and http[colon]//, which
otherwise are followed or marked up incorrectly by text parsers. Even the
use of the @ symbol, particularly if buffered with numbers and letter,
often translates it into a hyperlink.
The truth is - if you know what you are doing, there is a milion ways. If
you don't know, use example.com :)
