This is like, wow news. I didn't see this coming, did anyone else?
Having just read Mercury News and the story on Reuters, the AMD buyout of
ATI is confirmed at 4.2 billion cash, 57 million AMD shares (at Friday's
closing of $18.21). It's put 4 Dollars on ATI stock from $16.56 to $20.47.
I think this is one sweet deal for both sides and their stockholders.
