The GPL isn't a EULA or a contract. There's no reason for a court to
declare it "valid". An instance of the *futility* of the GPL would be
someone distributing GPLed software in violation of its provisions and
being allowed to do so by a court judgement. So the onus is on *you*
Erik: can you give us such an instance? If you and your paymasters are
so convinced that the GPL is "invalid" why don't you or they distribute
some GPLed software in violation of its provisions and we can have a
test case? We'd love to have such a clear example, particularly if
you were involved.
