I'm satisfied with my Nokia 770. It performs as advertised. I can run
my Squeezebox (www.slimdevices.com), surf and do email stuff, view pdfs,
play ogg and mp3 files, view my photos, keep my calendar, to do lists
and address book. Now if I could run Java...
Which calendar applications are you using? I have been looking for one for
months. It's the only thing that keeps me with Palm at the moment. I have
finally identified some calendar software some months ago, but it wasn't
ready for prime time...
There's a suite called gpe that has calendar, to do, and contact
functions. I don't love it, and backing it up is simply copying the
.gpe files to my hard drive. It doesn't sync with gpe's desktop yet
either, but since i hardly ever use my desktop to run my schedule, it
meets my (admitedly limited) needs.
There are some minor hangups, having mostly to do with when
capitalization is the default during form entry, but it keep my stuff
where I need it-- in my pocket.
