We have a contract with Silicon Mech, and of course, all the important
servers have redundancy, multi power supplies, two machines splitting
the load, etc. We roll out about 25% of the machines a year, for new.
Don't wait for things to die, replace them as their 3 or 4 year warranty
comes to a close. Just pushed out a couple of new 64bit dual Athlon64
dual cores for new DB servers, 16GB RAM mmm..
We call SiMech, and get new stuff fedexed out, <24 hrs. No sweat. It's a
business.
