Most evidently because Linux doesn't need the same amount of internal
storage, (8GB) as XP home to do it's job properly, and therefore remains
$50 CHEAPER.
It seems that the Wintroll known as amicus_curious loves XP Home ?
Windows XP Home ... for Wintrolls who want to pay more today, for less.
