Right now I have two computers set up and running Linux (on a two way Switch). This computer is using CentOS 5.2 and I installed Gnome on it, and the other has openSUSE 11.0 using KDE 3.5.x. (I've also got some older ones using Debian, and my wife's is still using Ubuntu). I like both KDE and Gnome. I think I'm starting to lean more towards Gnome because it's "lighter," and I'm finding that the more I use Linux, the less I'm worried about "fancy-ing" it up anyhow. I haven't even installed Micorosoft fonts on this computer, which is something I was almost obsessive about early on.

What I *have* learned to do is make Gnome a bit more like KDE. I like single-clicking icons and one panel on the bottom (instead of two, one on both the top and bottom). I also don't like opening a new window each time I click a folder -- so I changed that also. So I make those changes and am happy. I've also used Xfce and think that it's good also.

It's all good.
