Standard PR talking points / tactics.
Never give the opposition any press, even if it's bad press.
This is especially true when your particular company is in
trouble.

Surely XP has paid for itself long ago.

The problem is complex. People want Windows because that is what
they are comfortable with. Windows however is not, IMHO, the best
choice for net books. It's just too bloated.
Linux is a better choice from what I can tell.

What Linux needs is a good PR firm to get the word out.

Currently it's probably Apple on the consumer side and Linux on
the server side
