Google Groups happened.
It must have been slow to respond, so you hit the "post" link three
times in the space of 11 seconds, and Google assumed that meant you
wanted to post exactly the same content three times in a row.
The moral is, don't hit the link more than once.
But a more important moral is, do not use that pitiful excuse for a
Usenet service, and use a real one instead ... preferably one which
rejects identical articles posted in rapid succession.
